Travel by high-speed train, quickly reaching the next destination of your journey, the extraordinary Moorish city of Córdoba. Upon arrival, take some time to get lunch and wander on your own. Embark on a guided walking tour of Córdoba’s historic old town, and visit La Mezquita (UNESCO), one of the most architecturally fascinating buildings in the world — an 8th-century mosque later transformed into a cathedral, reflecting the intermingling of cultures that have shaped the city over time. Inside, marvel at its striking forest of red-and-white arches and columns, creating a truly unforgettable visual. Next, it’s your choice! Continue your exploration of the city’s heritage with a guided tour of Córdoba’s Jewish Quarter -OR- by seeing the vibrant patios of Córdoba, discovering a cherished tradition. Later, after settling into your hotel, meet up for dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 4 – Córdoba – Seville – Córdoba

This morning, set off on a full-day journey to Seville and back. Upon arrival, meet your local expert guide for a walking tour beginning in the enchanting Santa Cruz Quarter, an atmospheric maze of whitewashed homes, blooming balconies, and winding medieval lanes, where lively restaurants spill into the streets beneath fragrant orange trees. Take in the ornate exterior of the magnificent Seville Cathedral, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. In the afternoon, continue to an award-winning olive grove, where you’ll step into the heart of a family-run estate. Learn about their traditions, stroll through sun-drenched groves, and sample exceptional olive oils. Later, return to Córdoba to unwind after an inspiring day.

Day 5 – Córdoba – Granada

Travel to Granada, the last grand capital of the Moors in Spain, conquered by the Catholic Monarchs in 1492. Upon arrival, take in your first impressions of the historic center alongside your Tour Manager. Later, join a local expert for a tour of the world-famous Alhambra (UNESCO), a beautiful complex of buildings and gardens. Surrounded by lush, tree-lined walkways and water flowing from its fountains, behold a stone fortress overlooking the entire city — a mesmerizing example of Islamic architecture. After exploring the Alhambra, and the day draws to a close, immerse yourself in the passionate rhythms of a traditional Flamenco show and light dinner, experiencing the soulful music and dance that are integral to Andalusian culture.

View the ornate towers before wandering through the bustling Central Market, where you’ll shop side-by-side with the locals. Then, immerse yourself in a true Valencian tradition with a hands-on paella cooking experience. Guided by a local chef, learn the secrets behind this iconic dish, from selecting the finest ingredients to mastering traditional techniques, before enjoying the authentic paella you helped create. Later, enjoy time on your own to explore Valencia as you wish.
