Cruise to Dürnstein, a charming town overlooked by the hilltop ruins of the castle where legendary King Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned in the 12th century. Enjoy a free morning to explore its cobbled streets, historic townhouses and inviting taverns. Perhaps join an optional tour to sample some of the region’s renowned wines. Later, cruise through the picturesque Wachau Valley before docking in Melk for a guided tour of Melk Abbey — an active Benedictine monastery since 1089.
